Who We Are
BIPOC of Publishing in Canada is a non-profit collective for Black, Indigenous, and people of colour currently working in the Canadian book publishing industry. Our goal is to provide a safe space for BIPOC in the industry to come together and discuss personal experiences, concerns, and narratives openly, and to work towards a more inclusive industry through programming, mentorship and peer-to-peer support. BIPOC of Publishing in Canada aims to be an inclusive collective, welcoming BIPOC of all origins, faith, mobility, economic status, gender identification, sexual orientation, and any other equity-seeking group.
