About Mika

Mika is currently an editor at a Toronto-based company. She acquires fiction and non-fiction titles that focus on character-driven stories and explore themes of identity and culture with nuance. Throughout her career in publishing, she has had the privilege of working with many established and emerging BIPOC authors. Mika holds a BA in Anthropology with a double minor in Sociology and Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Alberta. Born and raised in Edmonton, she now lives in Toronto.
