As an organization dedicated to providing a safe space for BIPOC, we can’t do this work without acknowledging the fact that we are settlers on stolen land. We work and live in the region of Peel, which is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. Indigenous peoples have inhabited and cared for this land for thousands of years, and continue to do so today. She started her publishing career at PRHC as a publicity intern, and has worked as a bookseller and content creator.
